Objectives
The BADANTES project is driven by the goal of facilitating the social and professional integration of Romanian caregivers across the EU. By raising awareness of the challenges they face abroad and enhancing the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector’s capacity, the initiative aims to equip caregivers with tailored training to deliver high-quality senior homecare while adapting smoothly to their host countries.
Implementation
The project is executed through a structured series of Work Packages (WPs). Key activities include conducting in-depth interviews and launching awareness campaigns with dedicated booklets (WP2), alongside developing and delivering specialized training courses that address the specific integration needs of caregivers (WP3). Extensive dissemination efforts (WP4) are also carried out to maximize the project’s impact, ensuring its solutions are scalable and replicable across Europe.
Results expected
Ultimately, BADANTES aims to foster a more inclusive environment by heightening awareness and enhancing caregivers’ social, civic, and professional integration. A core outcome will be the launch of a comprehensive training course covering legal rights, psychological support, and practical senior care techniques, which will simultaneously strengthen the ability of VET providers to meet current labor market and societal demands.
